It’s been a while since our last update and there’s been a lot of activity as our first mission approaches.
U.S. clinical team has been identified:
- Interventionist: Kanishka Ratnayaka
- Electrophysiologist: Charles Berul
- Catheterization technologist: Daniel Sage
- Catheterization nurse & nurse educator: Charles Fleming
Patient selection criteria has been determined. We are targeting 5 procedures:
- Diagnostic cardiac catheterization
a. Patients are surgical cases to be doneCoronary angiography
b. Balloon pulmonary valvuloplasty (for pulmonary valve stenosis) - Pericardiocentesis (for pericardial effusions) – if available
- Balloon Atrial Septostomy – if available
- Pacemaker implantation – if available
