Dr. Peter Lwabi, his wife, and two beautiful children live in Kampala, Uganda. His large, extended family is entrenched in Ugandan life. He has been committed to helping Ugandan children with heart disease for decades.

Dr. Lwabi is the head of Pediatric Cardiology and associate director of the Uganda Heart Institute at Mulago Hospital, the largest hospital in Uganda. He is a talented physician and skilled pediatric cardiologist with a tremendous amount of clinical experience. His echocardiography skills are comparable to senior echo leaders in the US. He had the initial vision to build a pediatric heart program, which is now taking flight to help the many children who suffer from congenital heart disease in Uganda. The Ugandan government has recognized his tremendous progress by providing more funding for infrastructure. He has asked for our help to make this infrastructure serviceable with high quality care. Dr. Peter Lwabi demands the best for all his patients and the children of Uganda and is committed to providing first world treatment for these patients.
